The world famous chateau was from its conception a window to French art and know-how. Different visits are offered to the public. For a first time visitor, you should not miss the Grand Apartments, a tour which goes through the Hall of Mirrors.
Versailles, it’s also a magnificent park with the Trianon, and the lovely Queen’s Hamlet. Versailles was also a city built to welcome the French aristocracy; many buildings well preserved are still here to testify of this golden age.
Horse’s lovers will take advantage of their visit to enjoy a rehearsal at the Academy of Equestrian Show (check hours ahead of time!).
