Continuing the ride towards West, we love going to Mont Saint Michel. This landmark, listed by the UNESCO, was built century after century on a tiny piece of rock in the middle of one of the largest bays in Europe . The wall walk sights over the Mont and the bay are exceptional. The Mont , the Sanctuary and the loving little cloister nested between the sea and the clouds will leave you a long lasting memory.

Crossing the bay of the Mount Saint Michel is a fun and moving experience for modern pilgrims to experience as their "ancestors" have done for centuries.  Of course it is much safer nowadays, since you will be shepherded by professional guides.
