Dear Friend,
Here after, you will find a few ideas to keep your spirits up by visiting some promising exhibitions, having a good time in elegant bistros or restaurants, shaking hands with the heir of one of the nicest privately owned chateau in the world and more. Buckle-up and enjoy these rides with Paris Major Limousines.
Suggestion for a simple and elegant meal : try the brasserie Dali, in the Meurice Hotel. Meals are prepared by Yannick Alleno team. You will be comfortably seated on armchairs and despite of the success, the place remains not too noisy. Food is light, inventive, service fairly quick. |
The other day I decided to try the BelCanto (check the link) restaurant to see if they would have a table for two the following day. And lucky Pierre-Marc,(yes me!) they had one. We were seated at a table located by the piano player. I was happily surprised to find the food quite good. The team of waiters, 4 singers, 2 young ladies and 2 young men was excellent. These singers are studying at the French Music Conservatory and hope to live one day from their talents. For the time being, they are serving beverage and food and in between meals they sing.We arrived around 21.00 and left shortly after 23.OO, having listened to about 14 songs. In one word, a pleasant experience!
Sometime, the essential question is as simple as this : Where shall I find a good pizza. In Paris? On the left bank, I will suggest the Pizza Chic, 13 rue de Mezieres in the 6th district tel 01 45 48 30 38 and on the right bank the Bistro Napolitain on the 18th of Avenue Franklin Roosevelt very close to the Rond point des Champs Elysees: tel : 01 45 62 08 37.
One of my favorite excursions from Paris, is the Chateau of Vaux le Vicomte, see my website. You should not miss the latest installation : splendour and misfortune of Nicolas Fouquet. We have arrange an original attention to our guests : as a special souvenir of your visit you will receive a slate dated the year 1875 when the previous re-roofing operation took place. The domain is located close to Disneyland Paris, or about one hour drive from Paris and is reopening on March 14th. If we are lucky, we will be able to arrange a private welcome by Jean-Charles de Vogue himself.
